Pregnancy Care Canada
Project Details
Process

Pregnancy Care Canada (PCC) was preparing to launch its first online course, Building Community Bridges, designed to teach churches how to create safe and welcoming spaces for individuals facing unplanned pregnancies.

From their experience, they knew many churches struggled with being seen as non-judgmental, and this curriculum aimed to address that challenge by targeting church laypeople.

PCC asked me to capture Florence's story, which would serve as a powerful backdrop for the course and bring the content to life.

Recognizing that storytelling is a powerful way to foster empathy and understanding, my strategy for this project involved interviewing Florence and recreating key moments from her past to take the audience on her journey.

To help Florence prepare for the interview and spark ideas for b-roll, I created a detailed PDF resource.

After our pre-interview, I organized my notes to map out the story’s key beats—the parts I wanted to highlight. This also helped me identify moments in her story that could be recreated visually to deepen the emotional impact.

With a tight deadline, I scouted some locations on Google Maps and others in person, then finalized the schedule for both the interview and b-roll capture.

I managed the entire process—from pre-production to production to post-production.

While PCC didn’t request social media assets, it would have been simple to create on-brand, 9x16 vertical videos for their channels. To keep future options open, we filmed in 6K resolution, ensuring flexibility for different formats down the line.

From filming content for non-profits and renewable energy initiatives to creating videos for educators and small businesses, I specialize in producing video content that tells meaningful stories, engages audiences, and helps brands grow.

With over six years in the video industry, clients value my ability to approach each project with a fresh perspective and a focus on solving creative challenges. I bring versatility and passion to every project.

Before I jumped into video full-time, I worked in fintech as a Problem Manager, where I learned how to analyze challenges and deliver tailored solutions. Now, I bring that same mindset to helping clients bring their stories to life in a way that feels authentic and impactful.
